will be given away to a lucky forum member. The winner will be
randomly drawn from the pile of valid entries.

The duration of this giveaway is set for 10 days. It starts NOW
and ends midnight Central European time, Sunday August 5th.

From the Book, it's Balin, the lookout Dwarf. From what I've seen of the movie so far, his cousin Dwalin might get the edge.

Gandalf the Grey statue Followed very closely by Dwalin.

3. What was your favorite Comic-Con moment this year? Both for attendees and non-attendees!
Rumi sending me a PM that she had my Thorin statue in hand! The lifesize Trolls! The Hobbit panel! GG's Gandolf 'bent sword exclusive' minibust ()! There's just too many to name only one moment...

I like Bombur - he just seems to have a lot of character (figuratively and literally!) and I just love his design. The weta statue looks pretty cool too!

Hmmm - tough one. Whilst it is hard to go past David's magnificent Barad-Dur, I'm going to say that the trolls looked fantastic! I was quite surprised that you could buy them! (gee I hope I'm right about that...)

3. What was your favorite Comic-Con moment this year? Both for attendees and non-attendees!
My favourite moment was seeing the photos of my Green Dragon environment mock-up in the hands of Richard Taylor and Russel Alexander. I was pretty proud. Thank you so much Radagaster for making that happen!

1. I'll give Gloin a little love both for his own awesomeness and for bringing us Gimli!

2. Barad-dur for sure, but the Hobbit line was a close second.

3. Meeting Sir Ian McKellen in line for the Hobbit panel. The Hobbit panel, Firefly panel, and "trolling" the Weta booth in my spare time were runners up!

The reveal of all the Hobbit stuff.

1) Bombur - He was always last and he was always falling asleep at the wrong time. Well someone has to stay behind to guard the supplies.

2) Barad-Dur, Sauron's Fortress. Pretty hardcore piece.

3) There was a panel for people who did voices/voiceovers for cartoons. One of the panelists was Jack Angel, who did quite a bit for GI Joe RAH, which I thought was pretty interesting. It's interesting to pick up a voice you recognize and then a big surreal to attach it to a human being and not a cartoon character.

I think this is the first time GG actually produced a (non Star Wars) item according to schedule, before the movie is even released. I can remember their Avatar offerings, coming about a year after the movie was released to dvd
